OBLIQUEALPHABET

an alphabet of control and resistance

Can technology break the patterns it produces?

Can standardized systems generate difference?

Can cultural agency be reclaimed?

ObliqueAlphabet approaches these questions as both an ontology and a tool.

Inspired by Gilles Deleuze’s Abécédaire and Brian Eno’s Oblique Strategies, the project unfolds as an alphabet of short filmed monologues.

Each letter isolates a process through which technological systems shape perception, behavior, and identity. Each film ends with an oblique instruction — a deviation.

Technology produces patterns.

ObliqueAlphabet introduces disruptions.

Use it to produce your own differences.
